Cascade Capital I-Joists utilize an LVL Flange and OSB Web. This makes the product very cost effective and light in weight when compared to standard dimensional lumber. There is also more uniformity in size, they span a greater distance, and also have far less shrinkage than dimensional lumber. All of this helps make your job go faster and more efficiently, saving time and money on each project. The I-Joists are produced in 8 different series and range in height from 9—1/4” to 24”, flange sizes rang from 1-3/8x1-3/4” to 1-1/2”x3-1/2”.
Cascade Capital LVL Headers and Beams are a recommended alternative to Solid Cut Beams and Headers. Thee LVL’s are more uniform in dimension, stiffer and stronger than solid sawn lumber. They do not warp or twist like a green fir beam will. LVL Beams and Headers can hold heavier loads and span greater distances than the old Solid Sawn Beams. LVL Beams and Headers are produced in widths of 1-3/4” and 3-1/2” and in heights of 5-1/2”, 7-1/4”, 9-1/2”, 11-7/8”, 14”, 16” and 18”.
Cascade Capital Engineered Wood Products are “Green” products. They are manufactured from 2nd and 3rd growth timbre, the eye do not require any “Old Growth” timber. For every ton of new growth wood, the new forest produces 1.07 tons of Oxygen and absorbs 1.47 tons of Carbon Dioxide. This makes Engineered Wood Products usage a very sound environmental idea.
