In The Beginning……….
A new lumber and hardware company was formed in March of 1997. Plans to build a new yard at 304th and Meridian in Graham was on the drawing board during the wait, our first store in Eatonville was purchased on June 23, 1997.
Property was purchased in Buckley and a new store was under construction in the spring of 1998. The Buckley store officially opened on August 6, 1999. Only 25 days later, our store in Port Orchard was purchased and became Arrow Lumber & Hardware on August 30, 1999.
In keeping with our rural focus, our Randle store was purchased on April 14, 2004.
Two years later, capitalizing on an opportunity, the Orting store was purchased and began operation on July 24, 2006.
In January of 2008, commercial property was purchased in Port Townsend and development was underway six months later. Our goal is to construct a new 6,000 square foot retail facility in 2010.
Even though Arrow Lumber & Hardware is a relatively new company, the roots are very deep in the Lumber and building material business for over 50 years. Our business is based on Honesty, Integrity, and a Commitment to provide the best customer service in the industry.
